Beverly Omole, MOT, OTR/L, SWC, ASDCS
Owner, Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Hi I’m Beverly Omole, MOT, OTR/L, SWC…
Some may refer to me as Mrs. B or Mrs. Bev.
I knew from a young age I always wanted to help people and if you ask any of my family members they would tell you that my nurturing and caring personality was perfect for a profession in the health field! My other occupations include: mom, sister, friend, OT, daughter, wife, etc but being an OT mom is my most loved! During my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my two sons and husband.
Having a sibling with a disability, I can personally relate to the many stressors and struggles that many families face trying to get the right support and help for their children. I have a strong passion for helping, supporting, and empowering parents/caregivers so that they feel confident in their ability to help their loved ones. I aim to help kids increase their independence in performing everyday meaningful activities so that they can flourish at home and in the community.
I strongly believe that therapy should be FUN and ENGAGING for children to the point that they forget they are working hard on learning new skills. I value building strong relationships and collaborating with families and other professionals to help children and their families achieve their goals.
My qualifications include that I am a board-certified and licensed occupational therapist and hold an advanced practice certification in Swallowing Assessment, Evaluation, or Intervention (SWC). I am also a certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. I received my Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Samuel Merritt University and have over 12 years of experience as an OT working in the areas of mental health, schools, and pediatrics.
